Mr. Calvin is passionate about relationships. He loves using music as a tool to help children (and parents) create, communicate, and connect with both themselves and the world around them. He aims to discover and maximize every student’s unique talents and interests to help nurture their lifelong relationship with music. 
 
In the classroom, Mr. Calvin shows musicians how cool music can be in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. In the office, he works on fostering our school family and finding ways to connect with and give back to our local community. Nationally he works with the Yamaha Corporation to train, mentor, and inspire teachers.
